The DeSoto Parish Schools family is very saddened by the loss of Stanley High School student Aubrey Louise Hubier. Aubrey was in her senior year at Stanley High School and was sincerely loved by her peers and teachers. She loved playing softball for the Stanley High School softball team and was a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Our hearts and prayers are with the families and friends of those impacted by this tragedy. We stand by the Hubier family and the Stanley community as we try to make sense of this loss. As adults, we are well aware of the substantial emotional impact that follows the death of a loved one or friend.
