Mansfield High School is proud to recognize four outstanding seniors honored at the DeSoto Elite Scholars Banquet on Monday, April 13.
The event celebrated students across the district who exemplify academic excellence, leadership, and commitment to success. Representing Mansfield High School as 2026 Elite Scholars were Christini Addison, Nehemiah Grant, Kaliah Henderson, and Derrick Mitchell Jr.
Each of these students has demonstrated a strong commitment to academic achievement and has represented Mansfield High School with excellence.
Christini Addison is recognized not only as an Elite Scholar but also as Mansfield High School’s 2025 Student of the Year. She is known for her academic excellence, leadership, character, and servant-hearted spirit.
Nehemiah Grant was honored for his hard work, dedication, and strong academic performance.
Kaliah Henderson was recognized for meeting rigorous academic standards and for her continued commitment to excellence.
Derrick Mitchell Jr. was celebrated as an Elite Scholar and standout student-athlete whose success reflects excellence both in the classroom and beyond.
Mansfield High School is incredibly proud of these students and the way they continue to represent the school with intelligence, discipline, and leadership. Their accomplishments reflect the strength of the Wolverine community and the bright futures ahead of them.
