Red Ribbon Week continues with a huge thank you to DeSoto Parish EMS for visiting our school this morning to teach our students about the importance of seatbelt safety! Our students learned not only how to wear their seatbelts properly, but also why buckling up can save lives or help prevent serious injuries. Book Fair is coming up! It will be open to guests on Student-Led Conferencing Day, November 9th as well as November 12th for Thanksgiving Feast.

In addition, it will be open to library classes November 10th, 11th, 13th, 16th, and 19th. On these days, students will visit the Book Fair during their library time. Students can bring money to school the day they visit, or you can pre-pay using the QR code on the flyer attached! #LEADlikeaGriffin

Veterans Day Salute to the Troops Slideshow

Do you have a veteran in your family? We would love to honor them in our Salute to the Troops slideshow! Please visit your student’s Library Google Classroom and complete a slide featuring your veteran. All slides will be combined into a video to be shown during each program. We can’t wait to celebrate and honor those who have served our country!
