Shout-out to NDUE's Jett Blakely and Maddox Burnett who are both members of the 4-H Archery Team. They recently competed in the Regional 4-H Archery Competition. Jett qualified for the state competition in FETA and 3D, placing in the top 15 for each division.
Maddox is a state alternate, placing 16 in FETA. Way to go boys! We are excited for you and proud of your accomplishments! Good luck at state! #LEADlikeaGriffin

Congratulations to Maddox Burnett who recently competed in the 2026 Louisiana State Swim Meet at LSU. He qualified for the 50-yard breaststroke, 100-yard breaststroke, and 200-yard freestyle. Additionally, he was selected for two team relays: the 12U 200-yard medley and the 10U 200-yard medley. During the preliminary round, he advanced to the finals in the 100-yard breaststroke, finishing 4th in his heat and 12th overall, and the 200-yard freestyle, finishing 18th overall! Way to go Maddox! Parents, we invite you to join us for Leadership Day and see our students shine! Through the Leader in Me program, students are learning important life skills like leadership, responsibility, teamwork, and goal-setting.
Come watch our students lead, share what they’ve learned, and showcase the positive culture they’re helping build at our school. You’ll also have the chance to visit our Annual Art Show, so be sure to stop by and check out your student’s amazing artwork! 🎨
