📚 Happy Read Across America Day, DeSoto Parish!

On Monday, March 2, we’re celebrating the joy of reading with a little Dr. Seuss-style fun—because when you open a book, you open a world! 🌎✨

Today, we had the chance to visit several of our elementary schools and see literacy in action—smiles, stories, and lots of page-turning excitement! And the fun didn’t stop there… even the Shreveport Mudbugs Hockey team joined in by reading to our students!

Whether you read it in a chair, on the stairs, here or there, ANYWHERE—we hope every student finds a story that sparks imagination and a love for learning. 🌟

Stay tuned for more Read Across America Week highlights all week long!
