Riley was chosen as an 8th-grade goal-oriented leader for exemplifying leadership skills and responsibility across all her courses. Riley truly embodies the core value of integrity inside and outside the classroom while maintaining mastery-level work. Her powerful internal drive is evident in her passion for successfully balancing rigorous coursework with her extracurricular activities This exemplary combination of integrity and drive makes her a model for future leaders.

Christopher was recognized as a goal-oriented leader in the 7th grade. His teachers describe him as a self-driven and self-motivated student—a true force in the classroom. Christopher consistently initiates participation and leads by example. He demonstrates strong accountability by immediately requesting any missing assignments when absent, and he is a willing leader when celebrating the class's successes.

Kegan has earned recognition for his extraordinary goal-orientation and dramatic academic improvement this year. He has become highly responsible in both his behavior and schoolwork. Kegan’s commitment is clear through his consistent requests for ways to improve, his full engagement in learning, and his close attention to instruction. Teachers find his powerful internal motivation to be a true inspiration to his fellow students. We are so proud!

Students say she is truly amazing. She sets high expectations, yet always takes time to listen and support each learner. With her positive energy and constant smile, she creates a classroom where students feel encouraged and capable. Ms. Clark meets students where they are, then inspires and guides them to grow into all they are meant to be.

From the very first day, Mrs. Somchai has created a classroom where students feel welcomed, supported, and inspired. Her lessons are filled with energy and creativity, making learning both fun and meaningful. Students say she encourages them, takes the time to be sure they truly understand, and pushes them to reach their highest potential. Every day, she reminds them that they are capable of more than they imagined—and because of her, they believe it too.

Seventh Grade ELA teacher Mr. Williams and Librarian Mrs. Powell are partnering to launch a new reading program focused on boosting literacy and making reading fun! The heart of the program is the 30-Book Reading Challenge, which offers amazing incentives:
Classroom Challenge (Mr. Williams)
The class that reads the most books wins a pizza party, house meeting shout outs, and in-class treats.
Library AR Rewards (Mrs. Powell)
Students earn prizes as they hit major word count goals using the Accelerated Reader (AR) program:
Weekly Ice Cream Sandwich for 100% reading on level
100,000 words: Ice Cream Party
500,000 words: Candy Gift Bag
1 Million words: Backpack filled with candy and a gift card!
