Monday officially kicks off HOMECOMING WEEK!!!! Just a friendly reminder that Friday school will dismiss at 2:15pm.


For those traveling to watch our Tigers open district play tomorrow night, LHS fans will be allowed to sit on the visitor side. Everyone will enter the home side of Turpin Stadium and walk around the endzone to the visitor side.

Tryouts for JH Boys Basketball (grades 7th & 8th) will be Tuesday, Oct. 15th from 3:30-5.

The JV Football game that is scheduled for Monday has been cancelled.

The elementary students ended the nine weeks with an awards ceremony. We are proud of all of their hard work and dedication to success.











Mrs. Bakalis' class celebrated the end of their Cajun Folktales unit by tasting some gumbo and bread pudding today.








This week is Fire Prevention Week for our students. Desoto Parish Fire Department #1 came out and talked to our students about fire prevention and safety.











Tomorrow is PINK out so students, faculty and staff are encouraged to wear pink to school to support those who have fought their own battle against breast cancer!
It is the first game in our new stadium so pack the stands, dress in pink and support your TIGERS!!!💜🐅💕


Today we welcomed some of the NSU family to our campus! They had a wonderful talk with our seniors where they discussed future plans, scholarships and walked them through the application process!
We even had a visit from the President of the University! As always, Go Tigers, Go Demons and GEAUX class of 2025!🐅💜😈







Thank you to Mr. Herman Gamble for sharing your time and wisdom with our carpentry students this week. Their project included building rafters for a covered table. They learned valuable tips of the trade that will make a difference in their future construction endeavours.


For those students participating in the mini cheer camp they do not need a ticket for Friday night's game.
