Mrs Remedies’ 8th Grade Science Class developed models of water molecules, ethanol molecules, methanol, and sodium chloride to describe the atomic composition of simple molecules and extended structures.

Congratulations to the LHS Class of 2026 on reaching your Last 1st Day of School at LHS. We are excited for you and can't wait to see what this year holds for you all! We hope you enjoyed your Senior Sunrise Breakfast!

Senior Sunrise Breakfast is tomorrow morning at 6:30am at the football field. All parents & seniors must park in the football field parking lot. Please do not park in the new front lot as we need those spaces for our teachers.

LHS Open House will be held tonight from 4pm-6pm. Parents should park in either the Elementary Gym lot OR the new front parking lot. The high school gym lot is not open at this moment for parking. If you have a student in grades PK-5th, you will enter & exit the building through the middle entrance that comes from the Elementary Gym. If you have a student in grades 6-12, you will enter & exit the building in the side door facing the HS Gym that enters into the JH wing of the building.

Our LHS Instructional Leadership Team has spent the last 3 days collaborating with each other as well as other ILT's across the parish as part of DeSoto Summer Institute held at Clara Springs. Our LHS Team took Silver in the overall Camp Champ contest. We are excited about the body of work that was put in during DSI and the foundation for a great year has been laid. While we may be under construction on the outside of the building, we are always under construction on the inside as we build and grow our students and teachers. We are excited for the new school year and cannot wait to see all of our Tigers on Thursday!

We would like to welcome Mrs. Tiffany Kendrick to our LHS Tiger Family! She has been seen on campus subbing but now she is with us full time.

📣📣 LHS Class of 2026 will have their annual Senior Sunrise Breakfast at 6:30 am on the first day of school, 8/7/25, at the football field.

A special thank you to Comstock & Delwin Johnson for donating these school supplies to our teachers & students. Also, thank you to 4G Contractors for delivering these supplies.
