Per Dr Sims, students may wear spirit shirt with jeans tomorrow! No holes, tears or rips in jeans follow DPSB policy. If you don't have an LHS spirit shirt or an LHS club/organization shirt then you must be in uniform.

📣📣Updated Car Line Procedures Morning Drop-Off Procedures Elementary Only: Drop off in the loop in front of the elementary gym. Exit via the new front parking lot exit closest to HWY 5. Elementary + Middle/High School: Drop off your elementary student first at the gym loop. Then, form two lines directly behind the buses in the bus lot. Wait until all buses leave before dropping off your middle/high school student. Safety Rules: Do not leave elementary students unattended; a teacher will come to your car to assist them. Bus students are released into the building at 7:10 AM. There will be personnel to help direct traffic. End-of-Day Pick-Up Procedures Elementary Only: Pick up in the loop in front of the elementary gym. Exit via the new front parking lot exit closest to HWY 5. Elementary + Middle/High School: Form two lines directly behind the buses in the bus lot. Wait until the buses depart, and your middle/high school students will be dismissed directly to your car.

Please remember that our driveways are ONE WAY ONLY & 2 lanes. If you are in car line waiting, please pull over to the far right lane of the drive to allow teachers & students access to parking lots.

Car Drop-Off & Pick-Up Procedures
Morning Drop-Off

Parents should enter the campus behind the buses and proceed to the front of the administration building. Students will be dropped off directly in front of the office.

Elementary students should enter through North Gate (Gate 1), located to the right of the administration building.

Junior High and High School students should enter through South Gate (Gate 2), located to the left of the administration building.

For the safety of all students, parents should not park and walk students across the parking lots.

Afternoon Pick-Up

Parents should enter behind the buses as they did during morning drop-off. Students will be dismissed from the main entrance of the administration building.

Exceptions
The only students who will have alternate drop-off and pick-up locations are: PK-3, PK-4, and students in Mrs. Tammy's, Mrs. Ronda's, and Mrs. Cruz's classes. These students will drop off and pick up at the Elementary Gym area.

Students who drive: You must park in the high school gym parking lot. There will be no parking in the back of the school or beside the field house. You will walk to the front of the school and enter the gate that connects to the JH/HS side of the building.

Yesterday we celebrated the last day for our dynamic Elementary PE duo, Coach Kenny Guillotte and the school Mom, Melanie Woods. 💜💛 Coach Kenny is retiring after 32 years and Melanie after 33 years of dedicated service to LHS.
