This week’s Mansfield High School’s Student Spotlight goes to LaBrandon Ross. LaBrandon is a 10th grader. He was nominated by his teacher, Mrs. Robbins. Mrs. Robbins says, “ LaBrandon ALWAYS  has a positive attitude no matter what time of day I see him. He has encouraged another student to never miss class so that they can get a good report from me or their baseball coach.” At this time, there is an administrator in LaBrandon’s class with Mrs. Robbins who is presenting him with a gift card of his choice from the administration here at Mansfield High School. Congratulations, LaBrandon! We are blessed to have students like you here at MHS!

This week’s Mansfield High School’s Teacher Spotlight goes to Mrs. Mindy Brown. Mrs. Brown serves as our highly dedicated and energetic ACT Coach. She works extremely hard to ensure that your dreams turn into realities by preparing you for the college admissions test. Mrs. Brown enjoys serving the students of  Mansfield High School. Mrs. Brown was nominated by one of her students, Khadijah Barron. When I asked why she nominated Mrs. Brown, she stated, “ I want to nominate Mrs.Brown because she's sweet, and anytime I need help with anything I can go to her. She's been excellent to every student, including me, as soon as I came to MHS. I never had her as a teacher, but I wish I did. Mrs.Brown is like a mother to me.” At this time, there is an administrator in Mrs. Brown’s class where Khadijah is presenting Mrs. Brown with a basket of some of her favorite things from the administration here at Mansfield High School, donated by Ms. Desiree Alexander, our DeSoto Google trainer and APEL representative. Congratulations, Mrs. Brown! You are an absolute blessing to MHS!
