spotlight

This weekโ€™s Mansfield High School Student Spotlight goes to Jamarion Stroggins. He was nominated by Principal Ross. Principal Ross says, โ€œI was most impressed with Mr. Stroggins when Coach Hill and I were conducting paired learning walks one day. Not only was Mr. Stroggins highly engaged, but he was also demonstrating mastery of the objectives. He was highly motivated and enthusiastic!โ€ At this time, there is an administrator in Mr. Stroggins third block class, where he was caught in action being a student leader in the classroom with a new teacher, Mrs. Davis. The administrator is presenting him with a gift card of his choice from the administration here at Mansfield High School. Congratulations, Jamarion! Students like you make Mansfield High School a great place to be everyday!

This weekโ€™s Mansfield High School Teacher Spotlight goes to Ms. York. Ms. York was nominated by one of our master teachers, Mrs. Dawson. Ms. York is new to Mansfield High School. She fits right in! She has a volunteer spirit. She led out on our Black History Future Leaders in the Making presentations last month. Ms. York connects with students like she has been here for years! At this time, there is an administrator in Ms. Yorkโ€™s class where Mrs. Dawson is presenting her with some of her favorite things, including Starbucks gift cards for coffee and tea, as well as miniature Reese from the administration here at Mansfield High School, donated by Ms. Desiree Alexander, our DeSoto Google trainer and APEL representative. Congratulations, Ms. York! We love having you as a Wolverine!
