Friday, April 23rd Student and Teacher Spotlights

This week’s Mansfield High School Teacher Spotlight goes to Mrs. Robbins. Mrs. Robbins was nominated by Principal Ross. Mrs. Ross says, “Mrs. Robbins is a Mansfield High School graduate, lives in Mansfield, and works tirelessly for Mansfield High School Students. She does the jobs that do not carry a position, title or stipend. I see all that she does and am blessed that she is a part of the faculty and staff here. She serves as a LEAD teacher, teaches iSTEEP, ACT Prep, and Quest for Success. She also taught Personal Finance in the fall.  She is also our school librarian and ACT coordinator. She is a testing administrator for various testing events all throughout the year and on Saturdays. That is not it- she is our school webmaster and is always available to take pictures around campus. Mrs. Robbins bleeds Green and White! At this time, there is an administrator in Mrs. Robbins’ classroom, presenting her with some of her favorite things, including Starbucks gift cards for coffee, water and Hershey Kisses from the administration here at Mansfield High School, donated by Ms. Desiree Alexander, our DeSoto Google trainer and APEL representative. Congratulations, Mrs. Robbins! We are all thrilled that you make the decision to return to Mansfield High School year after year. We love you!

This week’s Mansfield High School Student Spotlight goes to Chandler Spencer. Chandler was nominated by one of his teachers, Mrs. Brown. Mrs. Brown says, “he is always respectful and willing to help out in my classroom. Last week, two students fell asleep during lunch and without being asked, Chandler took it upon himself to throw away their trash and his.” At this time, there is an administrator in Chandler’s class with Mrs. Brown, presenting him with a gift card of his choice from the administration here at Mansfield High School. Congratulations, Chandler! Thank you for your model Wolverine behavior!
