Voters in North DeSoto (District no. 2) can make their voices heard on a capital improvement bond proposal aimed at providing a modern learning environment with small class sizes, future focused programming, and space to accommodate the anticipated growth in the area. 2nd round playoff game time!
The Stonewall and North DeSoto community is a great place to live! The area has seen tremendous growth and there is more on the way. The DeSoto Parish School Board has had to increase capacity in the North DeSoto schools before and by allowing voters to consider this proposal, are giving the community a chance to decide what happens in the future. In 2017-18 we had 2,594 students between the four schools with a slight decrease during the COVID impacted years, but had 2,670 last school year and we are up to 2,727 this school year with strong growth at the upper elementary and almost 100 more students at the high school than five years ago.
In an effort to help fans that are more comfortable with cash sales for tonight's game, we are going to do a cash ticket booth. This will also allow us to ease back into online only. Online ticket entry will start at 5:30 and cash gate will open at 6:00. Tickets are $12.00 and LHSAA passes only.
We are so excited about the Round 2 game against Deridder tonight. Just a reminder that tickets are $12.00 and it is online purchase only. There will be no cash ticket sales at the gate. Please purchase your ticket prior to the game and it helps if you have a screenshot for quicker scanning. Looking forward to seeing you tonight.

While the Bond funds are largely focused on a new high school facility, the impact would be felt across all North DeSoto schools. High school students would have a future-focused learning environment, middle school students would have amazing lab and career spaces by moving into the current high school, elementary students would see smaller class sizes and get more one-on-one time with teachers, and the three- and four-year-old PreK programs would be able to accommodate more young learners instead of having a waitlist.
