The cost to the taxpayer depends on the value of your home. For example, a $300,000 home in District No. 2 (North DeSoto) with a homestead exemption of $75,000 would have an adjusted taxable value of $225,000 which would be assessed at 10%. The increase from a millage of 3.6 to 34 would result in an annual increase of $684 per year or $57 per month. Download the new Fact Sheet for more information

The bond plan is about more than just the high school! Additions were made in 2014 at the upper elementary and middle schools and those spaces are now full. While other schools in the area have seen a push for lower class sizes at the elementary level, North DeSoto Lower and Upper Elementary Schools cannot have class sizes decrease further due to space constraints. The plan takes all grade levels into consideration so that students thrive.

NDHS was proud to recognize our booster clubs tonight. These groups spend many hours and do much work in support of our different organizations. With the money raised by these groups, it helps to offset travel expenses and feeding athletes before and after games.
