Yesterday, our school proudly held its annual Veterans Day Ceremony to honor the brave men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces. Students, staff, and community members came together to show appreciation for the sacrifices made by our veterans and their families.
The program included heartfelt speeches, musical performances, and moments of reflection that reminded us all of the courage and dedication it takes to protect our freedoms.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the veterans who joined us and to everyone who helped make the ceremony meaningful and memorable. Thank you for your service and your example of honor, duty, and patriotism.

Black Heritage Club had an amazing time on Saturday at High School Day at Grambling State University. Students enjoyed a guided campus tour and connected with various campus organizations to learn more about the programs, opportunities, and benefits of attending an HBCU.
The highlight of the day was the energetic pep rally featuring the world-famous GSU Tiger Marching Band which an unforgettable experience for everyone! The students also had the opportunity to attend the football! Black Heritage Club plans to host an event called "Line Dance in the Lot" with food trucks and line dancing. Details coming soon!
