Mrs. Brown returns home today from leading her training of future educators. She was selected by the state for this program. She is pictured here with her cohort of students she worked with to include two college students that will begin their internships in the fall. Dr. Brumley also visited with the group and is pictured here with them. Thank you again Mrs. Brown for your support of future educators.


Mid July means August is right around the corner. Our NDHS Staff has enjoyed summer but will be ready!! First day of fall is August 7th. Orientation Days start the 21st. See the webpage for class dates and times. See you soon!!!!

Six NDHS JROTC cadets are attending LeaderSTATE Leadership Camp at Mississippi State University. The camp is sponsored by the U. S. Army and provides leadership training, but primarily focuses on Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) education. LeaderSTATE is open to high school students enrolled in the Army Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC). All campers are housed in a residence hall on campus. We cannot wait to hear of what our campers learned!!

Our FBLA travelers have arrived home safely. They had a wonderful trip and learned a lot.

National FBLA Update: Competitors have finished competitions in events they qualified in from state. They will be taking open tests today!! Good luck!!!

Congrats to Haden. He did a wonderful job representing NDHS at the MOS National Championship in Orlando.

We have two groups at national conventions this week. FBLA is in Atlanta and we have a student competing at the Microsoft Office Convention in Orlando. Both flew out today. Thanks to Ms. Ward and Coach Odom for taking the students. Safe travels, good luck and have fun!! Updates to come throughout the week.


Mrs. Rhoads, Mrs. Meshell and Ms. Sebren are working hard this week in New Orleans at the NIET Conference. We can't wait to hear all the ideas they bring back to NDHS!!


We hope all of our Griffin families are enjoying their summertime. Rest and relax - August will be here before we know it. We wanted to remind everyone office hours are 7:30-4:00 on Monday-Thursday. The NDHS Office will be closed on June 26th, 28th and 29th and July 4th. If you need anything, email is always available.
