Student/Parent/Teacher meetings are right around the corner.
Today, DeSoto Parish welcomed prospective teacher interns and education graduates to the district for Discover DeSoto. We were happy to host three potential high school teachers at NDHS. We wish them luck with their future plans and maybe some will land with us.
Baseball and Softball celebrated Griffin Seniors tonight!! We are so proud of them and have so enjoyed watching them play ball over the years. Good luck as they finish their seasons!!

Griffins are doing our best to beat the weather and play ball. Baseball will play today at home at 2:00 pm against Northwood. Admission is $7.00 - Cash at the gate. Softball will play West Monroe at Logansport. JV at 1:00 and V at 2:30. $7.00 - Cash at the gate. Good luck today on the diamonds.
Update on baseball game at Northwood today - game is moved up to 5:00 pm and gates open at 4:00 pm. Trying to beat the weather!! GO GRIFFINS!!
Baseball fans - here is some information for the baseball game at Northwood on Wednesday. Looking forward to a great game. There will be a separate gate for Griffin fans just like we had at the playoff games. Gates will open at 4:30 pm and there will be no early admission. Also, there is no outside food or drinks. See you at the diamond tomorrow.
Band travels home bringing a Superior rating from Orlando!! Congratulations!!
Band did great at their performance at Disney World and had fun on their day in the park.
NDHS Skills USA had a great day today. We bring home a Gold in medical assistant, Gold in technical computer applications, Silver in customer service, Bronze in advertising design. Congrats to everyone!!

The NDHS Master Teachers recently attended the NIET National Conference and today redelivered to the team. The team is working on improving feedback by developing a learner approach to supporting teachers. We look forward to practicing this conversation over the next few weeks.
NDHS artist can create anywhere!! They chose the hallway today. They are working on lines and shading.
The stadium was hopping today in the beautiful weather. PE class, JROTC and football were working hard.
FBLA had a wonderful state conference!! They leave with 6 students earning headed to nationals this summer.

Girls powerlifting had a great day at the LHSAA State Championships with one 2nd, two 3rd, three 4th, and one 5th places! The team took home 3rd place in Division II.
