NDLE: We would like to say THANK YOU to Fellowship Community Church for providing lunch today in honor of Teacher Appreciation Week! The students even received a treat by having a visit from our local Kona Ice truck! #DreamBelieveAchieve

NDLE: Did you know May 1st was National School Principal's Day? Today we celebrated Mr. Russell Tabor (principal) and Mr. Josh Grisham (assistant principal) for the work they do with our teachers and students. Thank you for leading the way!

NDLE: May 2nd-8th is National Teacher Appreciation Week. Thank you to all of our teachers that go above and beyond for our students!

NDLE: Did you know that our salesman from Big Time Fundraising said that North DeSoto Lower Elementary had one of the biggest sales he has seen in his 17 years!!! Our NDLE families showed up and showed out! #DreamBelieveAchieve

NDLE: Remaining times to pick up cookie dough will be Wed- Fri: 8am - 2pm and 3pm - 4pm. No pickup between 2pm and 3pm due to carline. If the parent is not able to come and pick up the cookie dough, they may send a grandparent or another adult to pick it up. Just call the office (925-2383) and let us know who is picking it up. NDLE: **ATTENTION** **ATTENTION** Next week, May 3-7, is TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK!!! Our PTA/NDLE Booster club has some things planned for our teachers next week. Please reach out to the President, Mrs. Stormy Cooper, if you are able to volunteer. They need help! Also, here is our weekly plan for next week. Monday- Send love to your teacher by writing them a note or poem. Tuesday- Draw a beautiful picture of you and your teacher. Wednesday- Dress like your teacher and bring her some supplies! (Germ-x, Tissues, Paper Towels, etc.) Thursday- Bring their favorite drink! Friday- Sweetness Spirit Day! Jeans and Spirit shirts for everyone and treat your teacher with her favorite snack! NDLE: Progress Report Week

NDLE: National Administrative Professionals Day to Mrs. Salter & Mrs. Miller! Let these ladies know how much we appreciate them!

NDLE: So many times we hear about that one teacher who made a special impact in someone’s life. Who was that teacher for you or your child? What grade or subject did they teach? We want to hear about your best teacher ever!

NDLE: Cookie Dough update: We actually sold $62,120 of cookie dough. This total includes the online orders that were shipped to customers homes. WOW!! Also, due to machines being down at the Cookie Dough Factory, delivery was pushed to the week of April 26th. Cash Prizes will be announced next week but we did increase the amount due to such a great sale! 1st place: $200 2nd place: $200 3rd place: $100 Drawing (anyone that sold over 12 items): $100

NDLE: Our awesome Little Griffins sold 3,002 tubs of cookie dough!!! That totaled to $60,040!!!! This is the best sale we have ever had! Thank you all for helping us raise money for our school. We will get 40% of the money raised which will help us in many ways!! Also, the prizes for most sold will be announced later this week. The cookie dough will be delivered some time next week. #NDLE
