LDE partnered with LA Health Hero USA to provide on-site flu shots for parents who want their child to participate. Attached is the release form that must be returned to NDLE by December 4th. After Fall Break, we will be returning to school Monday through Friday with breakfast, lunch, and transportation provided. Please remember that although our students are not required to wear face coverings in the building, they are required to wear them on the bus to protect themselves and everyone else around them. We look forward to seeing everyone 5 days a week again!

REMINDER: There will be no face-to-face instruction for students Thursday or Friday. Students will participate in remote learning only. Due to the likelihood of power outages in the area during the storm, no “new” learning will be introduced. NDLE and all other DPSB Facilities CLOSED Thursday..... After consulting with the National Weather Service regional office, Emergency Preparedness officials, and district and school leaders, we are making the following adjustments to our normal schedule as a result of the severe weather expected from Hurricane Laura: All district offices and school buildings will be closed to students and staff on Thursday, August 27th. Thursday will be a Virtual Only learning day for all students PK-12. Desoto Parish Transportation Department is excited to continue the use of the Parent Portal Lite App, Edulog, and are grateful for your patience as we begin the process for this school year. The Edulog App start date will be Tuesday, August 25, 2020. Students should come home with parent information that details the step by step instructions. We feel this app will continue to be a great asset to the Transportation Department, students, and parents of Desoto Parish.
