Thank you for your continued patience, cooperation, and support as we work together to ensure a safe and efficient start to each school day. Our morning carline runs smoothly because of families like you who consistently follow procedures and help us keep student safety a top priority.
With the increased volume of vehicles each morning, we extended our carline drop-off window after Christmas Break. Morning carline now runs from 7:00 a.m. to 7:40 a.m. We appreciate everyone making every effort to arrive within this time frame.
Please remember that the carpool line is our only morning drop-off location. This procedure is in place for both efficiency and, most importantly, safety. The cafeteria area is reserved exclusively for bus traffic and bus rider drop-offs and should not be used for student drop-off by car.
To help keep the carline moving safely and efficiently, please keep the following reminders in mind:
Arrive on time whenever possible
Have students seated on the passenger/right side of the vehicle
Ensure students are dressed, unbuckled, and ready to exit when you reach the drop-off point
If you arrive after 7:40 a.m. and staff members are no longer outside, please do not drop your child off unattended. This is not safe. Instead, you must drive to the cafeteria entrance and enter the building to check your child in through the main office.
We truly appreciate your partnership and understanding. By working together and following these procedures, we can continue to provide a safe, calm, and welcoming environment for all of our students each morning.
Thank you for helping us take care of our children and our school community.
Warm regards,
Russell Tabor

Time to buy a 2026 NDLE Yearbook! All yearbook sales are online. Our yearbooks cost $42 with all fees included. Our yearbooks are made with the company Pictavo and managed through Cowen Photography. Our yearbooks will be distributed to students before the last day of school in May 2026.
Our school receives a portion of the proceeds for yearbook and any Cowen photography picture sales. Essentially yearbooks and picture sales are fundraisers for our school. In order to maximize the school's earnings, we will not be ordering any extra yearbooks to be sold at the end of the year. In other words, if you want a yearbook, order one through the website before March 31. If you need help with ordering or have any questions, please email tara.brawley@desotopsb.com.
You can scan the QR code provided in this post or go to the online store with this link https://www.buytheyearbook.com/en/
Books can be personalized with the student's name for $10 until February 1st. Business or personal ads may also be purchased on the website. Here are the total prices for business or personal ads.
Quarter page ($26.25)
Half page ($52.50)
Whole page ($105)
Parents can design their own ad on the website or you can send the pictures and a message to tara.brawley@desotopsb.com and I will create an ad for you.
All non-personalized orders and completed ads are due March 31, 2026.

If you want to order a yearbook with a personalized cover, the deadline is February 1st. I did not realize that there was a deadline for this. I apologize for the short notice.--Mrs. Brawley
