North DeSoto Lower Elementary

The North DeSoto Middle School Cheerleaders are selling bowls of Pastalaya at the 8th grade football game on Tuesday, Oct. 21. Bowls can be purchased for $5 cash only. This is a fundraiser to help the cheerleaders get to NCA Nationals in January.

The students from Mrs. Edwards-Hall's class received Tacos and Cinnamon Twists from Mrs. Arinder and Mrs. Burford for having the highest attendance in September! The students truly enjoyed this special treat!

FRIDAY: Book Parade (Dress as a book character from your class book.) *Teachers will let you know which book their class will dress like.

🎉 Birthday & Holiday Treat Guidelines 🎉

We love celebrating our students’ special days! 🥳 To help keep everyone safe and make celebrations easy for our teachers, please remember:

✨ All birthday and holiday treats must be store-bought with a visible ingredient list for the teacher. This helps us protect students with food allergies.

✨ Treats should be individually portioned. Please avoid sending whole cakes or items that need to be cut and served.

🎂 When are treats served?
Birthday treats are shared at the end of the lunch period, so please keep them simple and easy to distribute.

✅ School-Approved Examples:

Store-bought bakery items: cupcakes, cookies, brownie bites, or donuts 🍪🧁🍩

Individually packaged snacks: Rice Krispie Treats, Little Debbie Cakes, Chips Ahoy, Oreos, fruit snacks, etc. 🎒

We would love to thank our PK Dads that attended PK's Donuts with Dads today. In an effort to provide more parking, please adhere to the following graphic. All dads please come in at the light or carpool line and park in the main lot by the gym. All staff will park in the grass, by the gym, or by the busses.

Booster club will have raffle tickets for sale at Donuts with Dad for $2. The prize is a $100 gift card to Academy.

Donuts with Dad is this week! PreK is Tuesday, October 14, Kindergarten is Wednesday, October 15, and First Grade is Thursday, October 16. Donuts will be served in the gym from 7:00-7:30 am in the gym.

Booster Club Boo Gram orders are due Monday, October 27th. Check your child's folder for order forms and fill out the gift tags. Boo grams will be delivered on Thursday, October 30th.

Schools will be closed for Fall Break October 6-10.
