Our Middle Griffin students and staff observed the "You Matter Campaign" Thursday by wearing yellow or teal shirts and by writing encouraging notes to others. Ms. Jackson shared that the "You Matter Campaign" is a heartfelt initiative aimed at promoting the well-being and mental health of both students and staff. This campaign focuses on reminding everyone in the school community that they are valued, seen, and heard, especially during difficult times. With an urgent focus on suicide prevention, the campaign provides vital resources and support to those struggling with thoughts of self-harm or despair. By fostering a culture of compassion, open dialogue, and connection, the "You Matter" message encourages individuals to reach out for help and to be there for each other.
