Mrs. Morrison’s students in ELA WIN collaborated on writing a paragraph that addresses how authors support claims in informational text. This one was about the pros and cons of starting school at a later time! They did a great job supporting each other in writing!

This involves thinking differently, experimenting, taking action to bring something new into being, whether it’s a completely new invention or a fresh new take on an old process. Representing 6th grade are Grace and Landon. 7th grade representatives are Piper and Parker while 8th grade is being represented by Tran and Braxton. Congratulations to each of you! Last week was a great opportunity for our mighty Griffins! They auditioned in December for the chance to perform amongst the best middle school musicians in Northwest Louisiana and many of our Griffins made it! They rehearsed several hours last week under acclaimed band directors and put on one amazing performance at Southwood High School. Congratulations on a wonderful performance and representing Desoto Parish well! You are #TheDeSotoDifference! It's always a great day to be a Middle Griffin!










Our Middle Griffins are hosting Tuesday's relay events. Field events begin @ 3:30 followed by the track relays. Remember no cash accepted at the gate.
