The bond plan is about more than just the high school! Additions were made in 2014 at the upper elementary and middle schools and those spaces are now full. While other schools in the area have seen a push for lower class sizes at the elementary level, North DeSoto Lower and Upper Elementary Schools cannot have class sizes decrease further due to space constraints. The plan takes all grade levels into consideration so that students thrive.

NDMS is going blue tomorrow, October 3rd, in memory of Aubrey Hubier from Stanley High School. Students, faculty, and staff may wear blue shirts with jeans.
NDMS CC raced yesterday, hosted by CE Byrd. Congratulations to Jack: 6th grade boys 4th place, Trevor: 7/8th grade boys 6th place and to Katelyn: 7/8th grade girls 2nd place. Also, Katelyn won 7&8th grade girls overall score trophies! Great job, Griffins!

NDMS hosted a special assembly featuring Dr. Ronnie Hill from Weatherford, Texas. Dr. Hill speaks in 200+ schools a year, is highly sought after, and our Middle Griffins and staff were fortunate to hear him this morning. He shared with students the dangers and consequences of bullying. Dr. Hill challenged and encouraged our Griffins to help break the bullying cycle. He extended an open invitation to students and staff to join him for Johnny’s Pizza tomorrow evening beginning at 5:30 PM. Pizza will be served at Summer Grove Church on Jewella Ave.
