Mrs. Severin and Mrs. Brown’s 5th grade homerooms participated in a card sort activity in Math. Their objective was to match division expressions with fraction models and word problems. The students used habit 6, synergize, to complete the card sort correctly and efficiently!




Look at how much these griffins love learning! Mrs. Rivers' class is using their knowledge of inheritance and traits to create creatures that look like it's parents.

What does it mean to be proactive to you?


Mrs. Brown's 5th grade science class is learning about mixtures and sediments through flavor testing for a new salad dressing! The students loved this hands on lesson!

This week we are shouting out Mrs. Barkley! Mrs. Barkley has been teaching for 30 years! She brings all the fun to our campus and loves every student!
Mrs. Barkley, you are a joy to be around and are so appreciated!


Ms. Meade is a fourth and fifth grade teacher at NDUE! She has been with us for a couple years now but has been a Griffin for much longer being an alumni of ND herself! She is a dedicated teammate and friend to her fellow teachers, assisting with whatever she can, and her students wouldn’t trade her for the world! #LEADlikeaGriffin
