Mrs. Thomas's fifth graders spent time creating their own freshwater collections systems. Students were trying to convert saltwater to freshwater.

Ms. Harkins 3rd grade students are participating in a gallery walk and writing about how the images make them feel and what the image tells them about the character and the setting! #leadlikeagriffin

Mrs. Bearden's 2nd grade class is using their knowledge of vocabulary words in ELA to connect them together! They are working in groups to make different connections between the words! Way to go Griffins!♥️🤍💙

Congratulations to NDUE"s Legacy Hamilton and the Port City Mafia 8u Jungle Boyz has earned the title of Runner-Up at the UYS Nationals in St. Petersburg, Florida! Their dedication, teamwork, and relentless competitive spirit brought them all the way to the national stage, an accomplishment that reflects countless hours of hard work and passion. NDUE would like to extend a big congratulations to Addi Flowers, Leah Benjamin, Bella Brown, Elle Bailiff, and Emerson Rogers, all members of Gymstone’s Team Onyx. They hit zero and brought home first place at Worldwide Spirit Association’s All-Star Cheer Competition this past weekend! Way to go girls! We are proud of your hard work and dedication to your craft! #LEADlikeaGriffin

Mrs. Warren’s friends in third grade are using their Q-Ball to share how to create pieces of dialogue for an upcoming Narrative Writing Task for the one of the BEST BOOKS EVER, Charlotte’s Web. These kiddos came up with stronger responses than their teacher. :) Whoop! Whoop! #OMG, Better Than Me! #Super Writers! #Writing Rocks!

Congratulation to these NDUE ladies: Logan Burke, Aubrie Heintz, Charlee Kate Rinaudo, and Stella Gray Rinaudo, for their achievements at the WSA Shreveport Cheer Competition on December 6th, 2025! Logan, Aubrie, and Charlee Kate each participated on the Louisiana Rebels Team Grace who won 1st place in their division, as well as the award for Most Creative. Stella Gray participated on the Louisiana Rebels Team Heart who also won 1st place in their division, and she received the award for Best Tumbling. Way to get it done girls!
