Congratulations to our NDUE Fitness Team members—Britt Tingle, Julianne Lindley, Daniya Graham, and Leon Spencer—for representing us at the Louisiana Governor’s Games this weekend! As the top boys and girls from our district meet, they earned the opportunity to compete against the best athletes from across the state.
All four competitors gave outstanding effort and represented DeSoto Parish with pride. A special shoutout to Leon for earning 2nd place in the 50-yard dash and 1st place in the boys’ long jump!

On March 1st, your student received a Zearn Challenge Tracker to monitor their progress. This tracker listed the specific topic and lesson numbers required for their grade level.
To earn incentives, students were expected to complete each assigned topic within a unit on Zearn. Each topic included a different number of lessons depending on grade level (for example: 4th grade, Topics A & B, Lessons 1–6).
Your student will come home with a ticket or one-pager showing the incentives they've earned.
Prize Days:
Monday (4/20): Hat Day
Tuesday (4/21): Pajama Day
Wednesday (4/22): Athletic Wear Day (RTI Dance Party & Jump Rope during math class)
Thursday (4/23): Crazy Sock & Crazy Hair Day
Friday (4/24): Popsicles & Popcorn (during concession time)
