The DeSoto Parish School Board unanimously approvedCapital Improvements bond proposals at their August 3 meeting. In District 2, North DeSoto Schools, the $130 million bond proposal proposes construction of a new North DeSoto High School as well as improvements to other facilities to accommodate growth.

NDUE: Car tags will be given to students on the first day of school. Car tags should be visible in your car for car pick up on Tuesday. Monday's car pick up will be the same as last year. The inside lane is for 2nd & 3rd; the outside lane is for 4th, 5th and family pick up. If you would like to walk up, please park and wait behind the barricades in the crosswalk.

NDUE: Griffins, we have some updated information pertaining to car riders! We are going to be moving to the Curb Smart system, the same one used at NDLE. Parents/Guardians picking up their children will be required to have a tag in their vehicles to pick their children up when coming through the car line. Walk-ups are still allowed. Curb Smart car tags will be passed out tonight at Open House. If you are unable to come to Open House, please walk-up to get your student on the first day of school. Car tags not picked up at Open House will be sent home with students on the first day of school. Once the tag is in your vehicle, we invite you to be part of our car line! We are excited about these changes and appreciate your patience while we adjust to the new system! It's going to be a great year in the NDUE car line! #LEADlikeaGriffin
