The DeSoto Parish School Board has appointed Phillip Palmer as the new District 6 representative who will fill the board seat left vacant by Coday Johnston. A lifelong Stanley resident, proud Stanley High alumnus, and community leader, Mr. Palmer is ready to bring his passion for education and service to the board.
We look forward to the impact he will make as we continue striving for excellence in education. Join us in welcoming him as he is sworn in at the December 5th School Board meeting!

DeSoto Parish Schools Rises to Second in Louisiana State Rankings!
We are proud to announce that DeSoto Parish Schools now ranks 2nd in Louisiana and is one of only eleven school systems with an "A" rating for the 2023-2024 school year!
🌟 DeSoto Highlights:
✔️ District Performance Score: 95.8 (+2.1 from last year)
✔️ #1 Graduation Rate in the state at 99.1%
✔️ Ranked 2nd in the state for Progress Index with a letter grade of "A" (96.5)
✔️ Four schools earned "A" letter grades: Logansport High, Mansfield High, North DeSoto Middle, and North DeSoto High
✔️ Multiple schools received Top Gains and Opportunity Honoree distinctions
