Dear DeSoto Family,
As we come to the close of the semester and enter the Christmas season, I want to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I am truly grateful for the families and community members who support our schools and partner with us in caring for our children.
Christmas is a time that reminds us of hope, humility, and love. Over 2,000 years ago, a baby was born in a manger, quietly and humbly, yet with a purpose that changed the world. That story continues to remind us that the greatest impact often comes through service, sacrifice, and putting others before ourselves.
My hope is that the days ahead give you time to rest, reflect, and enjoy meaningful moments with the people you love. Thank you for the trust you place in our schools and for the role you play in shaping our community. From my family to yours, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
For Students’ Sake,
Clay Corley

Let’s keep those minds bright, DeSoto! ✨📚 #DeSotoReads
