Since the last state-required millage renewal, our schools have seen impressive growth in and all areas and earned statewide recognition.

Voters in DeSoto Parish will head to the polls to consider renewing the current millages that fund district operations, including teacher salaries, operating expenses, and the day-to-day life of our schools. Election Day is Saturday, Nov. 15 and early voting begins on Saturday, Nov. 1.

North DeSoto Griffins – 4A District 1 | 10–0 undefeated regular season
Mansfield Wolverines –1A District 3 Champions | 8–2 overall record
Logansport Tigers – 2A District 3 Champions | 7–3 overall record

🤝 Learning and Sharing in Louisiana Education! We are so pleased that our team had the opportunity to present at the joint conference hosted by the Louisiana Association of Teachers of Mathematics (LATM) and the Louisiana Science Teachers Association (LSTA) this week! Our Math Coordinator, Jasmine Taylor, and Science & Social Studies Coordinator, Brandon Fontenot, focused on collaborating with and supporting fellow K-12 educators across the state. They shared practical, effective strategies for Mathematics and Science instruction with sessions titled Let Students Think and Thin Slicing With ALDs. Special thanks to all the dedicated teachers who attended their sessions!

DeSoto Parish Schools proudly serve our community. For decades, the voters of DeSoto Parish have maintained school funding levels - allowing us to become what we are today.

This month, two propositions are on the ballot to again renew this critical funding for district operations, including teacher salaries, operating expenses, and the day-to-day life of our schools.

For the first time in the modern era, all three DeSoto Parish football programs are ranked in the Top 10 of their respective division classifications — a true reflection of small-town tradition and high performance at its best! 💪

North DeSoto Griffins – Ranked #1 in Division II Non-Select, undefeated at 8–0 in regular season play.
Logansport Tigers – Ranked #6 in Division IV Non-Select with a 5–3 record.
