Prom 2025 is just around the corner! The date/attendance fee for Non-LHS students or a 10th grade LHS student is $50. Any student that is not an LHS student must be approved. See Mrs. Amy Stroud for the form and for more information.


Students may wear green shirts with uniform bottoms unless they have paid to wear jeans this week.

Bring you $5 or $10 donation to receive a jeans week this week! Elementary & Jr High students turn in money & forms that were sent home to your homeroom teacher. High School students may pay Ms. Shinault.


Last week our students participated in Read Across America Week. We had so many fun visitors that came to read with our students.

Elementary Book Parade 📚










LHS Jr/Sr Prom will be April 12th from 7:30-11:30pm at the Rustic Barn in

The teachers aren’t the only ones educating our students at LHS. Our SRO Coleman Caston was overheard reviewing social studies content with a group of third graders during their lunch yesterday.


Mr. Bush came and read to Kindergarten today in honor of Read Across America Week.



Our welding students competed in the District V Welding Competition today. Congratulations to Drake & Ryan for placing 1st and to Ben and Bryce for placing 3rd.

LHS students may wear Mardi Gras shirts tomorrow.

Just a reminder that our LHS Mardi Gras Parade will be tomorrow at 1:30pm in the school parking lot. Line up for the parade is at 1pm.

Maroski Photography will be on campus on March 4th to take Spring Pictures. Order forms are being sent home with grades PK-5. Grades 6-12 may pick up an order form outside of Mrs. Bush's office or in the front office.
