Tonight, we cheer for our Tigers in the playoffs, but first, our regular and special education teachers are co-teaching with our 5th graders. Featured Frequently Asked Question: Why is DeSoto Parish School Board calling upon voters for a bond election?
Facilities at Logansport High School are aging and not meeting the needs of our programming. The DeSoto Parish School Board has decided to hold a school bond election to address facilities that have been in use for more than 30 years as well as creating modern spaces that strengthen both safety and the sense of community that current and former Tigers know so well.

Fields of Faith will be in the Elementary Gym tonight at 6:30 due to the weather.

What will it cost me? The cost to the taxpayer depends on the value of your home. For example, a $200,000 home in District No. 1 (Logansport) with a homestead exemption of $75,000 would have an adjusted taxable value of $125,000 which would be assessed at 10%. The increase from a millage rate of 1.6 to 13.15 would result in an annual increase of $144.38 per year or $12.03 per month.
