PK-5 will have pizza day this week! Notes will come home with students tomorrow.
Out of an abundance of caution, all DeSoto Parish Schools and district offices will remain closed on Wednesday, January 17th.
As main highways begin to clear, our numerous side streets and rural roads remain a major concern, as does the threat of black ice during the morning hours. Please take the necessary precautions if you must travel over the next 24 hours.
As always, student safety remains our #1 priority. We look forward to welcoming students and staff back to school on Thursday, January 18th.
Due to worsening road conditions in the parish, all DPSB schools & offices sill be closed Tuesday, Jan 16th.
Just a reminder that all DPSB schools are closed tomorrow, Monday, Jan 15th in observance of MLK holiday.
Our 4th & 5th grade students enjoyed a field trip to the Louisiana State Exhibit Museum yesterday.

This week at LHS we are continuing our celebration of being an A school as well as those with outstanding attendance! Tomorrow ALL students in attendance will receive free nachos!

It's Jingle Week at LHS!!! Mr. Bush has extended the dress days to 6-12 students as well as PK-5. Students may wear SCHOOL APPROVED jeans these days - no rips, tears or holes are allowed!

The LHS Unstoppables Club hosted the parish wide SWSD Christmas Party today at LHS.
Please note updated times for Jr High Basketball tomorrow. Games will be played at Mansfield High School.
Join Logansport Softball in our "Socks for Seniors" sock drive. Socks are one of the most needed items in senior living centers. Please consider donating new socks so our senior citizens can be warm and comfortable this winter. You may drop off socks at Logansport High School or send with any LHS Softball player. Our team will be delivering the socks just in time for Christmas. Thanks for your help!
