A senior sunrise is a long standing tradition among seniors where they come to the school on the first day and watch the sunrise as a class on the football field.
We want to start this tradition at MHS this year.
Bring your own blanket and breakfast and enjoy some time as a class!
Ensure that you are in the gym for morning welcome by 7:30 a.m.

We will be in professional development meetings, participating in team building activities, attending the DeSoto Parish Schools Convocation and preparing for the first day of school to welcome our students back on Thursday, August 8th!
Don't forget that we will be out and about in the community Wednesday morning starting at 10:00 a.m. for the Annual Mansfield Community Parade! Wave at us, and we will honk and throw you some candy!

We know that many of our families have students at Mansfield Elementary, Middle and High Schools, so we are having our Open House on Monday, August 12th.
The notice of Open House was mailed out two weeks ago, and we passed out flyers last week. However, we wanted to post a reminder.

𝑶𝒖𝒓 𝒉𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒔 𝒘𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝒇𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒅 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒍𝒂𝒖𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒔𝒎𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒇𝒂𝒄𝒆𝒔 𝑻𝒉𝒖𝒓𝒔𝒅𝒂𝒚, 𝑨𝒖𝒈𝒖𝒔𝒕 1𝒔𝒕 as we welcomed all students and families to pick up their schedules. We passed out important back-to-school information on the metal detectors, backpacks, new cell phone law, Chromebooks, dress code, tardies, and Open House.
Thank you to everyone who attended and a huge shout out to our faculty and staff members who volunteered one of their last days of their summer vacation to help out!
