Great season for the Griffins. Coming up short today in Round 3 is tough but what a season these boys have had. We are proud of them. We wish our seniors luck as they move on and our underclassmen - it's time to get ready for next season. GO GRIFFINS!!

NDHS was proud to honor students and staff at tonight’s Board Meeting. It’s a Great Day to be a Griffin!

Congratulations to our Literary Rally students! They both won medals in foreign language events at State Literary Rally in Baton Rouge. One competed in Spanish 2 Interpretive Reading and earned a gold medal for Superior performance. One earned a silver medal for Excellent performance in Spanish 4 Interpretive Reading. The judges scored them on their pronunciation, fluency, memorization, interpretation, and poise. We are so proud of their achievements!

Great day with our 2024 graduates!! We had their senior walk and they enjoyed visiting the halls of their elementary and middle schools and seeing past teachers. Making memories!!!

Happy Principal Appreciation Day! Mrs. Phillips: your love for North DeSoto High School is palpable. You pour your heart and soul into making our school the best it can be, and your efforts have not gone unnoticed. #NDHS4L

Congratulations to our newest NDHS Red Coats! This is a tremendous honor. With that we are also preparing to say goodbye to our seniors who served as Red Coats this year. Thank y'all for providing helping hands for all of those on our campus. You will be missed.

Let the game begin!! Good luck to our Lady Griffins!!!

Our NDHS welders enjoyed some down time yesterday with some of Louisiana's finest friends. We are proud of the work they do and the certifications they earn are invaluable to them after high school. Thank you Mr. Emerson for your work with them daily and for celebrating accomplishments.

The new plan prioritizes many of the priorities identified by the community in the survey including improved traffic patterns and a focus on academic areas instead of athletic spaces. With the $85.2 million bond proposal, district 2 would see:
-Improved traffic patterns
-Expanded NDLE with seven new classrooms, new restrooms, new occupational and physical therapy spaces, new library, new administration offices and removal of T-buildings
-A New High School for 900 students (functional capacity not maximum capacity)
-Increased CTE spaces
-Adjusted capacity for HS cafeteria (900 instead of 1,200 to seat half the student population at once) and gymnasium (1,400 instead of 1,800)
-In lieu of a full theater, the plan includes a 450-seat multipurpose space with audience-style seating. This space could be used for drama, cheer, dance, wrestling and other activities when retractable seating is pushed back.
