Pathology with pumpkins!PBS students created a medical case on the disease of their choice. Students made infographic posters about their disease, a fictional patient history, and decorated a pumpkin as a visual representation. #NDHS4L

Our CITF Carpentry class toured the Weyerhauser plywood plant in Zwolle, La. The students were able to follow the plywood manufacturing process from tree to packaging and shipping the finished product.
CTE Vocab: Debarking Veneer - which turns the tree into a 1/4" thick sheet of wood about 103" wide and up to 80 feet long.

The NDHS JAG officers along with the officers from Mansfield High are attending the JAG-Louisiana Student Leadership Conference in Marksville, LA.
They are gaining knowledge of how to continue building their career association and establishing connections with likeminded students from all across the state. #NDHS4L

If the bond is not approved, current North DeSoto facilities will be challenged to meet the growing needs of the community, possibly resulting in increased overcrowding. More than 130 new addresses have been approved and in addition to 12 subdivisions with up to 500 lots currently in the planning or development phase. Due to rising costs and projected inflation, the $130 million project would cost $140 million if started in 2026.
