Reminders for Week of 1-22-24

Wrestling won the Regional Championships today with a record breaking 278 team points. We also broke a record having 13 finalist and 11 champions out of 14 weight classes. The go for the State Championships is February 2nd and 3rd.

The NDHS Cheerleaders are ranked #1 after Day One. Please continue to wish them luck as they move to Day Two in search for a National Championship!



Mrs. Godwin's Biology class took a stroll around campus swabbing for bacteria. They were then spread on a nutrient rich agar petri dish to allow optimal growth. Bacterial growth should be seen in a few days! Stay tuned! #NDHS4L




Many families have questions about attendance for tomorrow. If your family lives in an area of our parish where travel still remains hazardous from winter weather, please contact us at school and let us know of your situation. If your student is unable to attend, an excused absence will be issued due to extenuating circumstances. Be safe!!

Beta Club attended state convention this week in Lafayette. They are returning with four national qualifiers and one premier performer! #NDHS4L

These students are coming to a consensus. They are deciding what teacher actions and student actions look like for the Griffin Big 5: Mutual Respect, Active Participation, Consistent Effort, Intentional Reflection, and Ongoing Perseverance. #NDHS4L


NDHS is hosting a blood drive with LifeShare on January 17th! Sign-up by scanning the QR code on the poster. There are also sign-up sheets posted outside the cafeteria and library (Social Study side).
Minor donor permit slips can be picked up in room 224 EL or office.
