There were many funny and cute little Griffins who were excited to celebrate one of our favorite authors this morning at our Fabulous Friday assembly!
Exciting News! Any student who registers for the Griffin 5k or Family Fun Run will get to wear athletic wear to school everyday the week of the race, March 18-22! You can register online using the QR code on the flyer.
We are so thankful for the Mudbug hockey players who came to read to our students yesterday! All of our students are eligible for a free ticket for their game on March 8. Call the ticket office at 318-636-7094.

The Mudbugs hockey players will come read to our students on Wednesday, February 28 to celebrate Read Across America Day (Dr. Seuss' birthday). They are also offering our students complimentary tickets to their Dr. Seuss Night at their game on March 8. See flyer for details.
Students may bring a $2 donation and wear green for Mason on Wednesday, February 28th.

Whew! We made it to winter break. In the past 2 weeks we have had SPT Conferences, Mardi Gras Reading Night, Mardi Gras Parade, 101st day of school for 1st grade, Class Pictures, Valentine's Day activities, Grandparents' Day, lots of learning, and even more fun! 😄 On Friday, March 1st we will celebrate Read Across America Day/Dr. Seuss's Birthday! Students may wear a Dr. Seuss shirt or dress up as their favorite Dr. Seuss character. Just wanted to let everyone know in advance.
The NDLE staff want to recognize Deputy Brett Randolph on National School Resource Officer Day. He is truly here to protect and serve our Little Griffins every day in many ways! We love Deputy Randolph! Thank you for making a difference!
