PreK Round Up is today at NDLE from 12:00-3:00. You can also register online at desotoreadystart.com or by scanning the QR code on our webite. Early registration is very important to ensure your child will have a place in our PreK program. Students must be 4 by September 30th to register.

NDHS Beta Club is collecting supplies to donate birthday kits to the Providence House. They are placing a box to collect donation items at NDLE. Students can drop off boxed cake mix, frosting, candles, birthday cards, sprinkles, balloons, and birthday banners March 4th - 25th.

PreK Roundup at NDLE is March 6, 12:00-3:00 pm. You can register online starting Feb. 14. You can come in person on March 6. You will need the following things to upload when you register: Child’s birth certificate Child’s social security card Child’s immunization record Parent/Guardian’s current driver’s license (address must match bills) Parent/Guardian’s electric bill (service address correct) Parent/Guardian’s 2nd bill (water, gas, cable, satellite-same address)  Last 2 check stubs for all adults in the household (if no Medicaid/SNAP) Print and sign “Attendance Agreement” from desotoreadystart.com

NDLE invites you to our Family Literacy Night on Tuesday, March 4 at 5:30. March 2-8 is Read Across America Week which celebrates Dr. Seuss' birthday and encourages families to read together. Come join us for and evening full of games, fun and food trucks at NDLE!

The Campus wide Mardi Gras parade has been moved to Monday, March 3 at 9:30 instead of Tuesday. There is a chance for severe weather on Tuesday.

NDLE Booster Club' s monthly meeting is on Monday, March 3 at 3:15 pm in the NDLE Multipurpose Room. Enter through the front office. New members are welcome at every meeting! Come join the Booster Club and learn about the many ways to get involved at NDLE!

In the Bayou Bridges Social Studies curriculum, First Graders learn about Louisiana's History and one of the best traditions in Louisiana is Mardi Gras!
