NDLE: This morning Dr. Henderson, our local veterinarian, came to see our Little Griffins and show them all the tools he uses at his vet clinic! He also brought some furry friends for his demonstration! #DreamBelieveAchieve

NDLE: Today’s community helper was a fire fighter! DeSoto Fire District 3 came to show our 1st grade Little Griffins all the tools they use to help them do their job! Even some of our youngest learners got in on the fun! #DreamBelieveAchieve

NDLE: First Grade has been learning all about tools and how tools help people do their jobs. Today, Dr. Alisa Brogden from Stonewall Eye Care came to show our first graders the tools she uses for her job. Stay tuned to see who comes tomorrow!#DreamBelieveAchieve

NDLE: CONFERENCE TIME CHANGE!!! We will have a modified time for the first Student Parent Teacher Conferences. There will be a football game, on campus, next Thursday, so the conference times will be from 3:30-5:00 pm, on Thursday, September 1, and 8:00 am-1:00 pm on Friday, September 2. #DreamBelieveAchieve

NDLE: SAVE THE DATE!! Donuts with Dad is coming up! Dads or other male family members are invited to have a donut with their student before school. If you have children in different grades, pick the day that works best for you. This will take place in the NDLE Gym. NDLE: Tonight is the night! All parents, grandparents and teachers of our Little Griffins are invited to our monthly PTA meeting. Bring your ideas and find out ways you can volunteer at NDLE to support our Little Griffins! The cost for joining PTA is $5. We meet in the cafeteria. Our NDLE faculty enjoyed some friendly relay games with our other ND schools last night at NDHS’s faculty games! They also helped spruce up our halls and got all of the school supplies to each classroom! We are excited about the upcoming year and seeing you soon! #DreamBelieveAchieve
