NDLE had our first Fabulous Friday assembly for this year. Coming together as a whole school to celebrate achievements and good behavior is a big part of the positive, caring culture at all of our ND schools.

NDLE Families: A few reminders for birthday celebrations at school:
- Store bought items ONLY.
- Individual cupcakes /cookies are best for our Little Griffins. No whole cakes please.
- No ice cream, goodie bags, gifts will be allowed.
- Parents must notify their child's teacher when cupcakes/cookies are being delivered for a birthday.
- Each teacher decides what time of day is best for their class to enjoy the birthday treats.
- Parents are welcome to sign in with the office for lunch with their student.
Thank you for your understanding! We want to celebrate all Little Griffin birthdays while still maintaining consistency in our day.

All NDLE parents are invited to our first NDLE Booster Club meeting on Monday, September 9 at 6:00 pm in the NDLE Cafeteria. The entrance to the cafeteria is by the bus parking lot. Come join the Booster Club and learn about the many ways to get involved at NDLE!
NDLE's Booster Club will be selling concessions in the multipurpose room on Friday Sept. 6. Cost will range from 50 cents to $1.50. Please send money in a labelled envelope or ziplock bag with your child's name, teacher's name, and concessions.

North DeSoto Wrestling Academy Registration is Thursday, Sept. 5, 4:00-8:00 pm in the NDUE gym. Registration fee is $400. Practice schedule is Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 5:30-7:00 pm. For more information contact Dustin Burton (318) 617-6188 or Mark Pendleton (318) 518-7642.

Your child's teacher will send home communication through ROOMS or in your child's folder for scheduling a conference time. If your child has virtual learning to complete, your teacher will let you know.
