Our American Heart Fundraiser officially kicked off on January 12th and ends January 26th.

Any student that raises $150 or more will get to silly string Coach Barbo, Coach, Locke, or Coach James.
Our school goal is to raise $6000.
The P.E. Department raises money for the American Heart Association through this fundraiser while also getting a portion to buy new equipment for their students. With 500+ students coming to P.E. in the gym each week, equipment and materials gets worn quickly. Please help support a good cause by signing up and raising some money!


Hi NDLE Parents! Don't forget to pre-order your jambalaya plates by January 24th. Plates will be ready for pick up at our Mardi Gras Literacy Night on February 8th, 5:30-7:30. Come by the office or send your order form and payment in your child's folder.

In case you missed it on the Monday Memo... Santa will be here TOMORROW, December 6th, for pictures. You do not have to prepay for these pictures; everyone will get to see Santa and take a picture. Students may wear Christmas attire for their pictures!


Residents of District 2 (North DeSoto) are able to participate in a survey as a follow-up to the November 2023 election to help guide the DeSoto Parish School Board on next steps. The Kona Ice truck will be parked outside the NDLE cafeteria on Friday, December 8. Students can purchase snow cones for $3 after lunch. Please send 3$ with your child in an envelope or ziplock bag labelled with their name, teachers name, and Kona Ice.


First Graders will perform the musical ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas by: Albrecht and Althouse. All first grade students who plan to perform will wear Christmas pajamas.
