The Kona Ice truck will be parked outside the NDLE cafeteria on Friday, September 15. Students can purchase snow cones for $3 after lunch. Please send 3$ with your child in an envelope or ziplock bag labelled with their name, teachers name, and Kona Ice.

North DeSoto Lower Elementary PTA Meeting will meet on Monday, September 11 at 6:00 pm in the cafeteria. Use the entrance by the bus parking lot. All parents and caregivers are invited to come! Membership cost is $5.

NDLE wants to remind you that there are two election days coming up soon in our community. October 14, early voting Sept. 30- Oct. 7 and November 18, early voting Nov. 3-11. There are community meetings being held to discuss the school Bond Proposal and candidates.

North DeSoto Wrestling Academy registration night is Thursday, September 7th in the North DeSoto Upper Elementary Gym from 6:00-7:30 pm. The registration fee is $350. Practices are held October through March on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays in the NDUE gym from 5:30-7:00 pm.
North DeSoto Lower Elementary is closed on Monday, September 4 for Labor Day and Tuesday, September 5 for Student/Parent/Teacher Conferences. Please contact your child's teacher to schedule a conference time. Students will return on Wednesday, September 6.

Our Griffin Leaders began leading today! First Graders will be showing their acting and musical skills this week in Music as we put on the play Goldilocks and The Three Bears.
Traffic flow around North DeSoto schools has proven to be a challenge. Part of the District 2 bond will go toward improving traffic patterns that aim to alleviate congestion during the opening and closing of school, as well as during major events.
