NDLE: Today is D.E.A.R Day! This stands for "Drop Everything and Read," a national celebration of reading designed to remind families to make reading a priority activity in their lives. On this day, families are encouraged to take at least 30 minutes to put aside all distractions and enjoy books together. NDLE: Our yearbooks have arrived! They will have all been passed out by Friday, April 8, 2022. If your child does not receive their yearbook by Friday please contact their teacher first to make sure they have been passed out to the class. If they have been sent home from the teacher and you are still missing yours, please e-mail emily.gemelli@desotopsb.com. There are 30 extra yearbooks that will be sold "first come, first serve." They will be $35 and checks need to be made out to North DeSoto Lower Elementary. We think they turned out great and we would love to hear what you like best about the yearbook! NDLE: Reminder!!!! Popcorn fundraiser money is DUE tomorrow, Wednesday, April 6th. It will make our life easier if all the money turned in is checks! We will take cash but it is much faster and easier to track if we have checks. The checks will be deposited the day it is turned into the office. Example: If you have $360 in cash, you can write your own personal check made out to NDLE for $360 and keep the cash. #DreamBelieveAchieve
