NDLE: ***American Heart Assoc. Fundraiser***
The American Heart Fundraiser is still going. There will be a class winner from each grade level based on who raises the most money. Kids receive a bracelet just for signing up. This will end January 21st. Our school goal is $8000.
Also, the PE department gets certificates to buy new equipment based on how much is raised.

The cost for joining PTA is $5.
We meet in the cafeteria. (The entrance is by the bus parking lot)
Students receive a free dress day if their parents attend.
Teachers receive a jean day if they attend.

NDLE: Mon., Dec. 20 - Tues., Jan. 4 - CHRISTMAS BREAK - NO SCHOOL! Students return Wed., Dec. 5.
NDLE: Desoto Parish students received a surprise Thursday afternoon ahead of the winter holiday break. Desoto Parish School Board partnered with the Leaders of Faith community to supply each student with their own personal copy of a book to own and read over the winter break in support of the Louisiana Department of Education’s literacy initiative occurring state wide. #DreamBelieveAchieve

NDLE: REMINDER!!! First Grade Christmas Concerts will be held on Wednesday December 15, 2021 in NDLE Gym! Performance times: Mrs. Odom, Mrs. Bates, and Mrs. Griffith’s classes - 8:30 a.m. Mrs. Bickham, Mrs. Anderson, Mrs. L. Thompson, and Mrs. Firkins’ Classes - 9:00 a.m. Mrs. Walters, Mrs. A. Burford, and Mrs. Procell’s Classes - 9:30 a.m. First grade students may wear a Christmas themed outfit of their choice on this day. Pre-K and Kinder students will get to watch one of the performances. Kona Ice will also be at school this day to sell Snow Cones and Hot Chocolate for $3.00 Also, we plan to do a FB LIVE FEED for each performance.
NDLE: A BIG Thank You to Mrs. Tiffany Anderson for initiating a community project for our school! Our students and staff will be donating all these items to our local animal shelter! #DreamBelieveAchieve
