At this time, NDMS would like to recognize our Student of the Year and the DeSoto Parish Middle School Student of the Year, Ms. Tinlee Cardone. Tinlee is a great example of what it means to Learn, Lead, and Serve here at NDMS. We would also like to recognize Olivia Robinson as our Teacher of the Year, Kobe Gill as our New Teacher of the Year, and Abby Lacour as the Support Staff of the Year for our school and the parish. Beginning tomorrow, our NDMS FCA winter coat drive. We welcome donations of new or gently used children to adult sizes of coats, jackets, hoodies, hats, scarves, and sweaters. Collection continues until Wednesday, December 3.
Desoto 4-H had their 1st officer led Jr. Leader meeting last night. The focus was on community service and environmental awareness. These future leaders signed up for upcoming service hours and potted self-decorated house plants to present to others along with the “7 Science Backed Benefits of Indoor Plants” lesson.
