Four of our NDMS band students were the ➡️FIRST EVER⬅️ wind instruments to perform in the Greater Shreveport Music Teachers Association Fall Solo Festival. Congratulations to Jackson, Easton, Jessie, and Whitley on their solo performances. An extra shout out to Whitley for scoring a Superior Plus, landing her a spot in the Solo Recital performance the next day on both piano and oboe. She is officially the first wind instrument to have this honor! ❤️🎉💙
Shout out to NDMS Griffin band members Khalil and Jesse! They are currently in New Orleans for the weekend rehearsing with the ➡️TOP MIDDLE SCHOOL MUSICIANS⬅️ from all across Louisiana. They auditioned last November on high school level music and scored amongst ▶️THE BEST◀️in the second annual Louisiana All State Middle School Honor Band. They will perform Monday for hundreds of music educators and families. Way to go, Griffins!!
