Shout out to our Middle Griffin, Whitley, that competed Saturday in the LMTA piano rally. The competition consists of a written test, ear training, chords, scales, arpeggios, and three memorized pieces. She scored second place in her division and received near perfect scores in all four sections. She also qualified for the state competition this summer. She’s headed to Baton Rouge this summer to compete against the best in the state! Way to go, congratulations! ❤️🎉🎹🎼💙

Our Middle Griffins ended the week with a LEAP pep rally. Students are prepared for testing that begins Monday, April 27. Students should arrive to school on time with charged Chromebooks, have a great night's rest and have had a hearty breakfast.

Our Middle Griffin 8th graders received their PreACT results. Shout out to how awesome each of them is doing this year! Our Distinguished Scholars scored in the top 3%. Rising Scholars scored in the top 4-10%. Several of our Early Scholars scored in the 11-50%. Way to go, Griffins! Shout out to NDMS's Sadie! She recently competed in the National Gymnastics Association Louisiana State Championships. She placed: 3rd on Vault, 6th on Uneven Bars, 4th on Beam, 11th on Floor and 5th All-Around. Way to go! Congratulations!
