Our NDMS Beginning Griffin Band showed out at the Magic Springs Music Festival up in Hot Springs, Arkansas where they brought their ➡️ second ⬅️ superior and trophy this year! They celebrated and enjoyed the Magic Springs water park and the Hibachi Buffet! Way to go!!

Come join us for the North DeSoto Middle School Instrument Try-On Night and let them discover their sound! 🎺🥁🎷🎶 📅 Monday, May 18th 📍 NDMS Cafeteria ⏰ 5:30 PM – 8:00 PM (Families may come and go anytime during those hours!) Students in 5th, 6th, and 7th grades can try out ALL of the band instruments with NO obligation to join — just come have fun and explore! ❤️🤍💙 🎵 Flutes 🎵 Clarinets 🎵 Saxophones 🎵 Trumpets 🎵 Trombones 🎵 Tubas 🥁 And lots of percussion too! Our 7th grade ELA Griffins, using our texts read this year, created pieces of art! With a partner they created a two or three-part mural. Each made an individual poster, then connected to show when we put all our hard work together, it creates something much bigger, and better! Great job, Griffins!
