NDMS students, Jacob, Weston, and Addison, participated in the 4H State Shooting Sports Match held at the Long Range Alley Gun Club in Frierson, Louisiana today. This week NDMS students incorporated exercises that recognize emotional and mental well-being as part of their total body health. The students did listening activities and circle shares to show they are listening to what one another says and also spoke kind words about each other. They wrote and shared what makes them grateful. Students wrote thank you notes to people in their lives to share how thankful they are for them as well. The students finished the week completing breathing techniques and mindful exercises like guided meditations. #SchoolWellnessWeek #GriffinStrong #TheDeSotoDifference
