Hello, my name is Kourteni Henderson, and I am elated to join the NDMS team. I’ve been in education since 2014 as a teacher, Master Teacher, and school counselor. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor as well as a Nationally Certified Counselor.
I have an 11 year old son (Ethan), and an 8 year old Cockapoo (Riley). I am very passionate about serving students, and I look forward to doing so at NDMS!

The connections that I have built at NDMS and the environment and culture I have already experienced made me feel like this was the next step for me. The encouraging “pushes” I received from current friends and teachers reinforced that this is where I needed to be. With my sports back ground and mindset, I feel that PE and coaching is the perfect fit for me. I am excited to continue to walk the hallways hearing “hey mom” and now “coach” from my NDMS family! NDMS's Zaylon Johnson had a GRAND SLAM that capped an 11-run inning to tie yesterday's game at 28-28.

Mrs. Johnson is always willing to go above and beyond to make sure that we do our absolute best on the EOC. She also does not bore us. She makes math fun and enjoyable. Mrs. Johnson is very kind as well. I don't think that I've ever heard her yell or get upset.

NDMS: Students turn in chromebooks & chargers on Mon 5/15. If the device is physically damaged it costs $50 and replacement chargers cost $25.
NDMS The Greatest Showman practice and play update: Musical Practice will be at 4 pm! We WILL have the production of The Greatest Showman at 6:30 pm tonight. Concessions & Doors open at 6 pm!
