This is an interest survey for any middle and high school students who would like to join Stanley's first ever after school Gaming Club! We would meet every Wednesday from 3pm to 4pm and play a variety of tabletop and board games. If you have an interest in gaming, roleplaying, puzzle-solving or just having fun with your classmates, then this club is for you!
Use the QR Code or the link below to complete the survey. https://forms.gle/gxVcQuVbwnkXcL3D8
Please note that this is not an official sign up form, this is just a survey to gauge student interest. An official sign up form will be sent home to parents later this month. Also note, you would have to be able to provide your own transportation home after the club meeting ends each week.

Second graders in Mrs. Johnston's class were learning primary, secondary, and tertiary colors by studying the elements of art and painting a color wheel.

Forms for 4H went out last week. Students interested in joining, please return your forms and dues to Mrs. Jeter by Wednesday, September 4th.
A copy of the forms was sent out via rooms if another one is needed.

It's GAME DAY for Junior High!

Mrs. Chamberlin's 4th grade built a model brain out of clay and identified the function of each region of the brain in STEM last week.

Just wanted to let everyone know that at the Junior High basketball game Monday, Aug. 19th, we will be using our metal detectors. Everyone will be required to walk through it before entering. -SHS

Mrs. Ward's 1st grade class went on a scavenger hunt yesterday to find light sources around the school! They really loved the baseball field lights! #StanleyProud

Mrs. Nolen's Advanced Math class refreshed their factoring skills with a game of MATHO. J'Layla H. won a drink from the coke machine for being the first to MATHO!

Our Back to School Night raffle winners! 🎉💙🐾

School is back in session! Mrs. Brandon's 6th graders practiced group work expectations by completing a team task.
Students tied their string to the group's rubber band and then using only one hand each, manipulated the rubberband to move cups into a pyramid. Group tasks are used to deepen students' understanding of math concepts, but looks like they're having fun too!
