🔨 Building Skills & Building Something Useful! 🪚
Our Carpentry students are putting their skills to work as they construct an outdoor meat processing station! Students have already built the wooden frames and carefully measured and cut treated plywood to the required specifications.
This week, they worked on gluing and installing the countertop and sink area. Once complete, the station will include a faucet, plumbing, shelves, and wheels, making it a practical and mobile workspace.
We love seeing our students turn classroom skills into a project they can actually use! 👏🔨

🍎🌳 Kindergarten Goes Apple Picking… Almost! 🌳🍎
Our Kindergarteners had a sweet time celebrating Johnny Appleseed Day! They learned all about apples through hands-on activities, planted their very own apple seeds, sampled some delicious apple pie, and enjoyed a variety of fun classroom activities.
It was a day full of learning, exploring, and all things APPLE! 🍎❤️ We loved watching our little learners dig in and discover something new!

Our World Geography juniors have been diving into human geography and migration patterns this week! Students analyzed the push and pull factors that influence human population movement, exploring real-world examples including New York City, Los Angeles, Oregon, New Orleans, and Japan.
We love seeing our students connect geography to the world around them and use evidence to explain why people move and how those movements shape communities. 🌍📚

Today our classrooms celebrated Dot Day with creative dot-inspired activities, imagination, and plenty of fun! 🎨🔵
Our students also created their very own dots and added them to a special PK–2nd grade mural featuring Vashti from The Dot. Each dot is unique, just like the students who created it—and together, they made something beautiful! 💙💛
What a wonderful reminder that sometimes all it takes is a little courage to make your mark! 🌟

This night is about so much more than softball. All proceeds and donations from the game will go directly to Mrs. Sandra Temple to support her in her fight against pancreatic cancer. 💜
