
Our SHS Welding Team competed in the FFA Area 2 Career Development Events at Northwestern State on Wednesday, March 19th, 2025. Stanley placed 5th in Welding as a Team. K. Nance placed 6th overall individual. The teams were K. Nance and T. Binning, R. Belcher and R. Hubier.

Spring Pictures will be Wednesday, March 19th. Only students purchasing pictures will be called to take pictures and they may wear street clothes. Softball and Baseball pictures will also be this day. Order forms were sent home March 10th.

Stanley had a Read-A-Thon last month, and today the top reader and top earner for each class got to go on their reward field trip! Thank you so much to Cynthia and The Crawfish Shack for accommodating us! The food was awesome! And the kids loved the snow cones!

Stanley students and staff will have an early release at 1:30 Friday, March 7th to go support our Boys' Basketball team in their playoff game in Lacassine.

First grade is learning all about birds! Yesterday, they had a special guest, Willow the cockatoo! They got to see the bird's features they are learning about in class up close and ask all kinds of questions. Thank you Mr. Mike Hall for bringing Willow to first grade!
