Starting Monday, students can put money into the bucket of the teacher they want to see get a pie in their face during the pep rally on November 18th.
Teachers in the running are Mrs. Welborn, Mrs. Lowe, Mrs. Jeter, Mr. Raybon, Coach Dayton Craig, and Officer Burns.

In Mrs. Ward's Science class, students are learning about sound, sound waves/and vibrations. They created their own sound source to see if the thickness of the rubber band and the intensity of the strumming created softer or louder sounds!
Mrs Loftin’s class is busy exploring weather! They used what they have already learned about maps to draw the weather all around America. They even labeled their drawings. Way to go kindergarten!

Scholars in advanced math have been studying the characteristics of parent functions and their graphs. To assess their understanding, students worked in random pairs to analyze graphs to unlock a mystery code.
Students in Mrs. Ward's 1st grade class have learned all about Louisiana regions. After learning about the regions, they practiced using text based evidence to create “post cards” telling about the region they “visited".

Senior FFA members are currently in Indianapolis, Indiana for the 2024 National FFA Convention & Expo. The Convention is all about growing the next generation of leaders. Their goal these next few days is to find inspiration and direction to become a leader and influencer, ready to make an impact. Thanks to Mr. Jordan for organizing the trip and giving our students this opportunity.
