
Just a reminder that our LHS Mardi Gras Parade will be tomorrow at 1:30pm in the school parking lot. Line up for the parade is at 1pm.

Maroski Photography will be on campus on March 4th to take Spring Pictures. Order forms are being sent home with grades PK-5. Grades 6-12 may pick up an order form outside of Mrs. Bush's office or in the front office.

PreK-5th grade students will be celebrating Read Across America Week March 3-7th.


LHS will have their annual Black History Program tomorrow morning at 9:30am in the Elementary Gym.

LHS Elementary & JH/Sr 4H Clubs were well represented at the LSU Livestock Show. Congratulations to Clay, Farrah & Kamyllia who all placed in their respective shows.

Poultry - 1st place 9y/o showmanship, Reserve Champion Jr. Showman, two 3rds and 6th place on birds.
Dairy - 1st place 9y/o showmanship, 3rd place with both heifers.
Goats - 4th place showmanship, 2nd place market goat.
Clay:
Poultry - 4th place 13 y/o showmanship, two 1st place, one 2nd place on birds and Breed Champion & Reserve Champion.
Dairy - 2nd place 13y/o showmanship, one 3rd and two 6th on his heifers and 4th with his cow.
Sheep - 6th place 13y/o showmanship, 4th place lamb







Today's home baseball game begins at 5pm not 6:00 as on the regular schedule. Tickets may be purchased via the go fan app.

Elementary students participate in fun Math & Literacy Day activities yesterday afternoon!


LHS students may wear Valentines Day attire tomorrow within DPSB dress code.

The elementary students wore red today for American Heart Month in honor of Mrs. Abbie, Zion & Leland.
