Whew! We made it to winter break. In the past 2 weeks we have had SPT Conferences, Mardi Gras Reading Night, Mardi Gras Parade, 101st day of school for 1st grade, Class Pictures, Valentine's Day activities, Grandparents' Day, lots of learning, and even more fun! 😄 On Friday, March 1st we will celebrate Read Across America Day/Dr. Seuss's Birthday! Students may wear a Dr. Seuss shirt or dress up as their favorite Dr. Seuss character. Just wanted to let everyone know in advance.

Just a reminder that tomorrow is Class Picture Day. Students may wear appropriate free dress. Pictures are NOT pre-pay; your child will bring home a flyer with steps for how to purchase a class photo. Have a great night!
We were happy to have the North DeSoto High School Wrestling Team return to NDLE's Fabulous Friday Assembly to celebrate their state championship! Thank you to all the wrestlers and coaches that took time to share their inspiring experiences with our Little Griffins!
