North DeSoto Lower Elementary's Fall Makeup pictures are scheduled for Monday, November 3rd. Students who were absent for the first picture day or need to take retakes are the only students who will take pictures on this day. Students who are taking a picture may wear clothing of their choice. These are the pictures that will go in the yearbook.

Hi Parents! Our NDLE Monster Math Night is Thursday 5-7 pm. Attached is a map of what we will have at the event. You can park in our school parking lot and the bus parking lot. Food Trucks will be parked at the bus drop off area by the cafeteria. Games will be in the Cafeteria and Multipurpose Room. Trunk or Treat will be set up in the gym and a Petting Zoo will be set up in the grass outside of the gym. We can't wait to see you there!

Mark your calendars for 2 spooky events at NDLE! Monster Math Night on October 30th from 5-7 pm and our annual Book Parade on Friday, October 31st at 9:00 am!
Zearn Math Space Race starts Monday! As our students complete Zearn lessons, they’re traveling through space—one mission at a time! We’re celebrating Louisiana’s proud role as America’s Rocket Factory by launching an out-of-this-world challenge. Each completed Zearn lesson moves your class farther across the galaxy! The goal is to complete 12 Zearn lessons by November 21st, and the reward is Galaxy Slime! Get ready to blast off, explorers—the mission begins Monday!

Morning Drop-Off Reminder:
NDLE's only Carpool Entrance is Entrance #1, north of NDUE. Morning Carpool Drop-Off begins at 7:05 am. Please make sure your child is ready to get out when you pull all the way forward in the drop-off line. Carpool Drop-Off ends at 7:35 am as teachers go inside to begin class.
⚠️ Safety Notice:
For your child's safety, do not drop them off once duty teachers go inside. After that time, please park and walk your child in through the cafeteria to check them in. Students are considered tardy after 7:40 am. We want to be sure that every student is safe and supervised.

PreK-4 students celebrated their 50th day in 1950s style with a sock hop after our fabulous Friday assembly. We had a fun teacher and student game of musical chairs scavenger hunt during Fabulous Friday.
NDLE was thrilled to recognize Memphis as our student representative who truly exemplifies being a Team Collaborator, and the perfect Portrait of a Graduate. She is a natural leader, one who not only guides others but also listens. Her classmates look to her for direction because she can work with anyone, help anyone, and make everyone feel valued.

North DeSoto Fellowship of Christian Athletes will host Fields of Faith at the NDHS Stadium on October 22 at 6:00 pm.
The North DeSoto Middle School Cheerleaders are selling bowls of Pastalaya at the 8th grade football game on Tuesday, Oct. 21. Bowls can be purchased for $5 cash only. This is a fundraiser to help the cheerleaders get to NCA Nationals in January.
The students from Mrs. Edwards-Hall's class received Tacos and Cinnamon Twists from Mrs. Arinder and Mrs. Burford for having the highest attendance in September! The students truly enjoyed this special treat!
